Badrinath is one of the highest temple of Lord Vishnu situated in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand. Badrinath is one of 108 Divya Desems of Lord Vishnu. It is said that Lord Vishnu meditation here and Goddess Lakshmi converted herself into a berry tree to protect Lord Vishnu from heat and cold. It also said that Adi Shankarcharya was found a black shaligram idol in Alaknanda River in 9th century. Badrinath Dham is a pilgrimage destination holds great faith in the heart of devotees. Where the Hump of Bull appeared which location is called Kedarnath. Kedarnath is the highest temple of Lord Shiva and one of 12th Jyotirlingam. Gangotri: River Ganga is one of the most sacred River in India and Gangotri is abode of Goddess Ganga situated in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand. The white beautiful structure of Gangotri Temple is one of the major attractions of this place. Gangotri temple stands strong in between majestic Garhwal Himalayan with thick forest and amazing nature beauty. Gaumukh is the origin point of Ganga situated 19 km from main shrine of Gangotri. Yamunotri: Yamunotri Shrine is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna situated in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand. Yamuna River is the second most sacred River in India after Ganga. It is said that once Yamunotri is the home of great sage Asti Muni. He took bath in the Ganga and Yamuna both every day. But when he became old and unable to reach Ganga then a water stream of Ganga appeared opposite site of Yamuna. Then the Sage take bath easily in both rivers. It is said that Yamuna is daughter of God Sun and sister of God Yama. It is believed that take bath in the water of River Yamuna clear all the sins and protect unnatural and painful death.
