The Pagoda architecture of the temple is managed by Buddhist Nuns and worshipped by the Hindus and Buddhist for the varing religious beliefs and referred as the Mukti Cettra Place of Salvation for the Hindus and on the other side Buddhist call is Chuming Gyatse (place of 108 water sprouts), The faith and belief is Guru Rinpoche (Padamsambhava) meditated here and gained spiritual knowledge in the 12th Century while he was on his way to Tibet. The temple is located 20km from Jomsom and based at the Khatang Kang (Throng peak) in Baraha Gaun (12 village) in the Mustang Region of North Central Nepal and about 3810 mt above the sea level. It is also the Gate to the Mustang area while on the Annapurna Trek. The Shrine area is surrounded by Several Trees, Buddhist Gompa and pagoda style of Vishnu temple. The location is open throughout the year but locals gather and celebrate here during Ram Nawami, Bijay Dashmi and Rishitarpani festival.
