It is said to have a underground cellars where Queen Padmini and other ladies committed self-immolation; Kumbha Shyam temple, it is strongly connected to the mystic poetess Meerabai, passionate devotee of lord Krishna and wife of prince Bhojraj; Bhainsrorgarh Fort, it is standing on the steep slate ridge, cuddled in Aravalli ranges and dense forest, surrounded by river on three sides attracts tourists from all over the world. Now it has been converted into a heritage hotel. Some more places are Nagari, Gaumukh Reservoir, Tulja Bhavani temple and Kalika Mata Temple.
