Job Description Accounting:

--Overall responsibility for Accounts Management and ensuring budgetary control in the organizations operations
--Preparing financial statements, highlighting variances with comparable periods, giving advice on accounting systems, budgets, management information and cash flows.
--Making timely MIS available with the business managers and help the team members to pro-actively develop meaningful reports for business/operational analysis.
--Develop costing systems to enable effective pricing decisions.
--Ensuring adequate Insurance coverage and timely renewal of policies to protect all assets.
Auditing:

--Ensure timely availability of information to statutory, internal, revenue & stock audits to enable smooth completion of finalisation of accounts, effective internal audit and hassle-free compliance status.

Tax Compliance:

--Ensuring all direct/ indirect/ withholding tax requirements are met with and returns are filed in time, including
--Ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns, Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service tax in accordance with the respective Tax Acts.
--Ensuring quarterly e-filing of TDS, timely issue of TDS certificates, updating the list of TDS deducted by debtors.
--Preparing, calculating and maintaining the records of Service Tax & submitting Service Tax Return with Service Tax Department
