Advertisement Product description:The foundation stone of Annamalai University was laid by Rajah Sir S. R. M. Annamalai Chettiyar back in the year 1929 in order to encourage Tamil Literature. Annamalai University is located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Even before that, the founder established three colleges named Sri Minakshi College, Sri Minakshi Tamil College and Sri Minakshi Sanskrit College. Later, Rajah Sir S. R. M.Annamalai Chettiyar handed over the above mentioned institutions to the state Government to form a university. |
